BEG LOGS
To order scanned or continuous-paper
well logs for Texas Districts 1-10 or Texas State
Waters from the
Bureau of Economic Geology (BEG) at the
University of Texas at
Austin you do not need to join the
Library.
Simply download the log database files
listed below for the counties or
waters you are interested in. Then
search for your logs and
send your order to Ann Leist,
P.G., in our Austin office at one of her
numbers
below. An invoice will be
sent with your order.
Alternatively, if you do not want to
download these large Excel files, Ann will mail you a single CD of the
log database county
files at no charge. The CD is current from 1985 to December 2007. Please
contact
Ann in our Austin office for logs released after January
1st, 2007. The Texas State Waters file is current
through
September 2006. If you cannot find the logs you are looking
for, or need more recently
released
logs, please e-mail Ann and she will
try to find them for you.

We also sell newly released Texas Railroad Commission logs (tif images
on CD) that we mail
monthly to subscribers for $50.00 per district
per month, plus shipping. Individual log images
indexed in
an Excel database are included.

PRICING FOR HARD-COPY
LOGS:
- $2.50 per log, plus 48 cents per foot.
- Shipping is extra.
- Orders usually ship the next business
day.
- All paper logs are printed on continuous, high-quality,
folded paper.
PRICING FOR SCANNED
LOGS:
- $10.00 per log for orders of 1 to 5
logs. $5.00 per log for orders of 6 logs or more.
- Shipping is extra.
- Orders usually ship the next business day.
- Scanned logs are scanned as (.tif)
files.
Invoices will be sent with each order and are
due upon receipt.
